Barry Hall is a key forward who played for the Sydney Swans (2002-, 65 games, 193 goals) in the Australian Football League. He previously played for St Kilda (1996-2001, 88 games, 144 goals), and is originally from Broadford in country Victoria.

Hall achieved All-Australian honours in 2004, and played in the 2003 International Rules series. He won Sydney's best and fairest award in 2004.

Hall has a reputation for losing his temper during matches, resulting in a lengthy tribunal record. His most recent suspension, however, was in round 15, 2002, when he was suspended for five matches for gouging. Since then, he has played more than 50 matches, indicating that he has achieved greater self-control as his career has progressed.

Outside football, Hall is also a talented boxer, and there has been speculation that he will take up a boxing career when his football career ends.
